Q - How do I place an ad on your web site? A - You can call, (281-627-4826) and give me the persons address and I will send him/her the application/s. You can email me the persons address and I will send him/her the application/s. If you already have all the information for the person you want listed on the web site, you can click here for the online application. I will get it online as soon as I receive one of the following payments. (See below for payment options)

Q - How much does it cost? A - A one time fee of $5.00 or one book of stamps = $7.40. Either one will cover their entire sentence. Death row prisoners can use any of the services for free and there is no limit to what they can send. Women can place a regular ad for free at any time.
Please make check/money orders payable to; Life After Lock-Up (P.O. Box 37435, Houston, Texas 77237). I will not deliberately post ads for sex/child abuse offenders. With the limited resources available to me, a full background check is not possible at this time. I assure you that I am working on this and I will be doing full background checks in the near future. No refunds will be given for ads removed. Ads removed thus far.

Q - Will you place ads for free?
A - Yes. I have already placed many of the ads on here for free already and will continue to do so when I can. Email me for more information. I'm posting ads for prisoners in Arizona and Florida for free until further notice if the ad is posted via the Internet. If you know somebody in either one of those two states that would like to be listed on the web site, click here for the online application.

Q - Why is it so cheap?
A - I know from a 3+ year experience in Texas what it's like not receiving mail and or visits while locked up. I'm doing this for my fellow comrades. It's a personal project and a mission to get them some mail. If ink and paper were free, I'd place all the ads for free.

Q - Who and what is; Life After Lock-Up (www.lifeafterlockup.com)? A - That is my other web site where I offered free employment listings for people that will be getting out within a year. It was only for Texas prisoners. It is not working at the moment. As soon as I get the time, I will put it back together and offer the same service for all American prisoners.

Q - How do I contact the person I want to write? A - The persons address can be found on the top left corner of every ad. Snail mail only. They can not receive email. Make sure you add the persons number and if the housing unit/bunk assignment is on there, add that too. (John Doe #0123456789 K-0123). The housing unit/bunk assignment is not required. It will insure a faster delivery to that person however.

Q - Can I mail the person stamps, books or magazines? A - Yes and no. Every prison has it's own set of rules when it comes to the mail. I suggest asking the person you are writing first. If you don't have the time for some reason to wait on a reply, call the prison and ask. Honestly though, the person you are writing will no more than the people that answer the phone.

Q - Will you forward letters for me? A - Yes. Write your letter. Send it to me via email. I will then print it and send it to the person of your choice. Please include the following information: To: John Doe #0123456789 Prison Name City, State Zip From: Your Name City, State If the person you decide to write writes back, I will contact you via email to let you know that you have
mail. :) You can then give me an address to send the letter too and I will mail it unopened the following day.
